The service

What you're actually getting.

A septic system is the most invisible big purchase your property will ever make — done right, you won't think about it for decades. Done wrong, it's a permanent headache with your name on the permit. The difference is the soil work, the sizing, and the license of the person in the hole.

Anthony Bowlin holds three current TCEQ licenses — Installer II, Site Evaluator and Designated Representative — which means the same company can evaluate your soil, design the right system, pull the permit and put it in the ground. Second-generation septic: he learned this trade in his family's company before building his own.

Every job, the full job.

What it costs

What does a new septic system actually cost?

Most systems we install land between $7,000 and $14,000. Where yours falls inside that range depends on a short list of things that can only be read on your property, not over the phone.

  • Your soil. Sandy loam with room for a drain field is the simple case; tight clay or a high water table pushes you toward an aerobic system, and the price moves with it.
  • Your county's rules. Setbacks, permit requirements and inspection steps differ by county, and they decide what you're allowed to build.
  • The type of system. Conventional gravity systems sit at the low end. Aerobic systems cost more up front and include ongoing service on the ones we install.
  • The size of the house. Bedrooms and fixtures set the daily flow the system has to handle, which sets the tank and drain field size.
  • How far out you are. Distance is a real line item on both pump-outs and installs, and we'd rather say so now than surprise you on the invoice.
  • And a few smaller things we'll walk you through once we've seen the site.

That's why we don't quote a system over the phone. A site evaluation reads the soil, the slope and the setbacks first, and the number you get after it is a number you can actually plan around.

Common questions

Septic System Installation questions, answered.

Conventional or aerobic — which do I need?

Your soil decides, not preference. Good sandy loam with room for a drain field usually means a simpler conventional system; tight clay or a small lot often forces aerobic. The site evaluation answers this definitively before any money is spent.

Are you licensed for this?

Yes — TCEQ Installer II (OS0041588) and Site Evaluator (OS0040287), both current. You can verify both on TCEQ's public license search.

Do you handle the permits?

Yes — permitting through your county is part of the job, and holding the Designated Representative license means we know exactly what the reviewers look for.

What about service after the install?

Aerobic systems we install include service — we keep what we build running. And every system we install gets a pump-out reminder when it's due, if you want one.

What does a new septic system cost?

Most systems we install land between $7,000 and $14,000. Soil, your county's rules, the type of system, the size of the house and how far out you are all move that number, which is why we price after a site evaluation instead of over the phone.
